Sami Chohan is currently serving as Full-Time Faculty in the Department of Architecture at Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. He is a member of the Institute of Architects Pakistan and Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners, and has worked as an architect at Arshad Shahid Abdullah (ASA) Pvt. Limited, also participating in a design for the urban context studio at Istanbul Technical University.
Hussain jesserwala

Hussain Jesserwala graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture and a Master in Science of Architecture from Politecnico di Milano in Italy. is currently an adjunct faculty in the Department of Architecture at Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. Prior to leaving for graduate education, he served as an architect at Tariq Hasan’s studio The Architects, interned at an architecture and urban design firm in Belgium, and has also participating in workshops in Italy and Turkey.
Ahmed ansari

Ahmed Ansari is a PhD candidate in Design Studies from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), and has a Masters in Interaction Design from CMU and a Bachelors in Communication Design from the Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture. He has worked as an assistant researcher at CMU’s CreateLab and the Quality of Life Technology Center on NSF grants looking at the applications of high resolution imaging technologies in informal learning environments, and new wearable technologies to aid the mentally impaired, and is currently an Assistant Professor in the department of Social & Media Sciences at SZABIST. He is affiliated with the Pakistan Innovation Foundation (PIF), the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM-SIGCHI), and the Design Futures Council.

Marvi Mazhar, a traveler by choice, story teller by default, graduated from IVSAA in 2009 and joined First Woman Architect of Pakistan, Yasmeen Lari. Under her training and the Heritage Foundation’s principles, she got involved with research and heritage preservation. After completing her Masters in Architecture from the University of Turin, Italy, she is now currently involved with Conservation of Railway Cantt Station and documenting for analytical studies of Heritage sites in Sukkur and Khairpur, Sindh. Her practice has been involved in regional and urban conservation as well as urban design interventions and street scaping for Government, Municipal and Corporate clients. She is member of the Institute of Architects Pakistan (IAP) and Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP).
IRA KAZI

Ira Kazi holds a Masters in Urban and Regional Design from the New York Institute of Technology, and a Bachelors in Architecture from Mehran University. She is currently a lecturer at the Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture and has extensive experience working in both the US and Pakistan on landscaping and urban design projects aimed at revitalizing public spaces for Osmani & Co., Ltd and Dadras Architects, New York.
HUSSEIN KAPADIA

Hussein Kapadia graduated in 2009 with a Bachelors in Architecture from Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. He has worked with an internationally acclaimed architect Georg Feibig on projects for the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund, the Health & Nutrition Development Society, and Sindh Agricultural and Forestry Workers Coordinating Organization (SAFWCO). He is currently lead architect for Roshni Consultants working on local commercial projects.
